Tobias Kormind, managing director of a European diamond jeweller, said it is unlikely the jewellery worth $102 million (over ₹800 crore) stolen from Paris' Louvre museum will be retrieved. "If these gems are broken up they will in effect, vanish from history," Kormind said. Christopher Marinello, founder of Art Recovery International, said as compared to artworks, recovering jewellery is tougher.
