Victim's father of alleged rape case at IIM Calcutta made a U-turn by saying: “My daughter had gone to IIM campus knowingly, and there may have been misunderstandings. We are not pressing charges.” Legal experts note that case cannot be withdrawn as it is a cognizable offence under Indian Penal Code and investigation will continue unless law enforcement decides otherwise.
