On being asked whether India should've included Cheteshwar Pujara in their squad for Border-Gavaskar Trophy, ex-India captain Kapil Dev said, "Why talk about....people who aren't in the team." he stated, "Whatever best team you have...you're making them play, and that’s it. One can then ask whether India needs players like Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar...Why not Don Bradman for Australia?"
