US dropped two atom bombs on Japan's Hiroshima and Nagasaki, in a two-day gap, 80 years ago. To maintain secrecy of the Manhattan Project, the bombs were nicknamed 'Little Boy' and 'Fat Man' on the physical shapes of their designs. 'Little Boy' was a relatively thin uranium bomb, while 'Fat Man' was a wider plutonium bomb with more complex design.
