An internal email from the Wildlife Institute of India (WII) on Monday warned that June salaries could be withheld for staff who were absent on International Yoga Day (June 21) without a valid excuse. Only 75 out of 600 employees reportedly attended the event. However, the email was later withdrawn, clarifying that participation had not been made compulsory.
