US President Donald Trump said the country will not play a key role in ensuring security guarantees for war-torn Ukraine but instead be involved from the "standpoint of a backup". Trump said Europe should take the lead in the matter "because they're right there". Thirty countries were working on security guarantees for Ukraine, NATO chief Mark Rutte had earlier said.
