Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said if a person belonging to a religion other than Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism has obtained a Scheduled Caste certificate fraudulently, it will be cancelled. He added that jobs secured or elections won using such certificates will be annulled. Replying to a 'calling attention' motion, he added that the state plans strict laws against fraudulent conversions.
