Union Minister Pralhad Joshi demanded an apology from Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah for attributing increased deaths due to heart attacks in the state, particularly in Hassan district, to COVID-19 vaccines, after the expert panel constituted by him found no correlation. "Siddaramaiah is deliberately making such statements because the vaccine was developed during PM Modi's tenure," Joshi said.
