Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has expressed shock over the Bombay High Court's acquittal of all 12 people accused in the 2006 Mumbai train blasts case. Fadnavis said, "The verdict...is very shocking and we will challenge it in the Supreme Court." Notably, the High Court observed that the Anti-Terrorism Squad "utterly failed to establish offences beyond reasonable doubt against the accused".
