Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said Centre asked for deletion of names of over eight lakh ration card holders in Punjab under National Food Security Act, calling them ineligible. He added that it may impact 32 lakh persons in Punjab. Mann said his government won't let the Centre delete a single ration card as his government "always stands by the poor."
