The 2025 Perseid meteor shower will peak on August 12-13, offering up to 100 meteors per hour despite moonlight. Visible across the Northern Hemisphere, including much of India, the best views will be post-midnight to pre-dawn from dark, open locations. The meteors originate from comet Swift-Tuttle's debris, creating bright streaks and occasional fireballs in the night sky
