Reacting to the Indrayani River bridge collapse in Maharashtra's Pune, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said, "When the Kolkata flyover collapsed...PM Narendra Modi had said it was not an act of God but an act of fraud." He added, "Now...with the bridge collapse in Maharashtra and a plane crash in Gujarat, will Modi ji still call this an act of fraud?"
