The Government of India has extended the application deadline for its ₹5,000-crore PRIP scheme to encourage greater participation from pharma and MedTech innovators. Aimed at transforming India from the “pharmacy” to the “laboratory” of the world, the initiative funds R&D projects, startups, and Centres of Excellence to strengthen domestic research and innovation capacity.
