The Supreme Court ordered stray dogs to be put in shelters and asked Solicitor General Tushar Mehta for his views. Mehta responded saying a location was chosen for relocating dogs but plan was halted after animal rights activists secured stay order. "All these animal activists...will they be able to bring back children who've fallen prey to rabies?" the court asked.
