After suffering a great defeat at the hands of hosts Bangladesh, mainly due to the spin attack of the side, West Indies called on a T20 specialist spinner, Akeal Hosein, to try and aid the other spinners of the side, who were already there. Hosein has played only 38 ODIs with last one in 2023.
