Wing Commander Afshan paid her last respects to her late husband, Wing Commander Namansh Syal, on Sunday. She broke down in tears as she saluted him. Wing Commander Syal lost his life after a Tejas fighter jet crashed at the Dubai Air Show. "He served the nation with unwavering commitment, exceptional skill and an unyielding sense of duty," IAF said.
