IT major Wipro is reportedly in the process of cutting 'hundreds' of jobs in mid-level roles in a bid to improve its margins. Wipro has the lowest margins among IT majors in the country. Wipro's margins for the December 2023 quarter were 16%. Margins for TCS, Infosys and HCL stand in the range of 19-25 per cent.
