A 49-year-old woman and her accomplice were arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly cheating her social circle of crores after luring them to purchase gold at a low cost, besides offering other deals. The arrested woman has been identified as Savita G. Savita frequently hosted kitty parties to build trust with potential victims and targeted women from financially strong backgrounds.
