A 47-year-old woman named Zhimin Qian pleaded guilty to laundering charges under a ₹60,000-crore crypto scam after police found devices holding 61,000 bitcoins at her mansion. Qian bought the bitcoin after fleeing with money from investors of her investment company. Her digital diary showed she wanted to be anointed "reincarnated goddess" by Dalai Lama and create her own kingdom "Liberland".
