Sub-Inspector Sakina Khan shot and injured Kamal Kishore, accused of raping a four-year-old girl, during a police encounter in Madeyganj, Lucknow. The accused opened fire when police tried to arrest him. He was shot in the leg and later hospitalized. A pistol, cartridges, and a bike were recovered from the scene.
