A 40-year-old woman in Manipur's Imphal, Hanjabam Ongbi Ranita Devi, runs SMILE BOA, a food processing unit, producing over 80 items from local fruits and vegetables. Trained by the District Industries Centre, she empowers tribal women, creates jobs, and promotes local biodiversity. Her venture, started after her husband’s illness, now markets products across Northeast India.
