Anita Negi shifted from chemicals to natural farming in 2018 following health problems and losses. She now intercrops fruits with seasonal vegetables in Kullu's Talagali village, harvesting 35 kg of apples per tree. She also prepares plant saplings and trains farmers and students for free.
