A 36-year-old woman, suffering from abdominal pain for 18 years, found out that a nurse accidentally dropped a needle while suturing her during childbirth in Thailand. The incident came to light after the woman went to get an X-ray last year. A doctor had reportedly tried to retrieve the needle but chose to close the wound due to excessive bleeding.
