A 29-year-old widow named Pooja Jatav had an illicit relationship with her dead husband's brothers and murdered her mother-in-law over property dispute in Jhansi. During questioning, Pooja confessed to orchestrating the killing with her sister and her sister's lover. Pooja had insisted on selling what she considered her share of the family's ancestral land, which was opposed by her mother-in-law.
