A 24-year-old woman was killed by her ex-boyfriend in Mairang on June 30. The accused, Roberto Marngar, slit her throat in a parking lot while she was walking with her father. Locals caught him and handed him to police. The victim died at the hospital. A murder case has been registered; the motive is under investigation.
