A woman in West Bengal's West Midnapore district mistakenly prepared a meal with acid instead of water which led to six members of her family being hospitalised. According to police the acid was regularly kept in the house because a family member works with copper and silver. The woman mistakenly used it to cook rice and curry for the family.
