A woman's baby died after delivery at a hospital in Maharashtra's Washim due to alleged negligence of the staff, officials said. The woman's family alleged she was treated inhumanely during childbirth, stating, "She was slapped...her stomach was forcefully pressed, and she was examined by unqualified staff." They also said that despite severe labour pains for hours, nobody paid attention.
