A non-Marathi woman vendor allegedly attempted to set herself on fire in Dombivli, Thane, after a dispute with Marathi-speaking vendors over stall space turned abusive and accusatory. The woman was saved by bystanders and civic officials, according to PTI. An official from the Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) confirmed that the space was allotted to Marathi-speaking vendors.
