A woman in US' Virginia, identified as Carrie Edwards, donated her entire $150,000 (about ₹1.3 crore) lottery earnings to three charities, a dementia charity, Shalom Farms, and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Edwards, who lost her husband to early-onset dementia, called giving "an obvious choice" and hopes her gesture inspires others to help their communities.
