Women in Uttar Pradesh can now work night shifts from 7 pm to 6 am in factories across the state. Women must provide their employer with written consent to work night shifts and employers are required to provide them transportation from their residence to the workplace. Women can't be terminated from employment for refusing to work in these hours.
