Women hold only one in ten ministerial posts across Union, state and Union Territory cabinets in India, News18 reported, quoting various reports. There are only 63 (10%) women ministers out of a total of 643 in India. West Bengal, with eight (20%) women ministers, has the highest number of women ministers, followed by Madhya Pradesh with five (16%) women ministers.
