BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Medha Kulkarni and activists from Hindu outfits "purified" a spot at Pune's Shaniwar Wada, where some Muslim women visitors had offered namaz (prayers). Kulkarni cleaned the area with 'gaumutra' (cow urine) and performed Shiv Vandana. Ajit Pawar-led NCP, Congress and AAP condemned her actions, calling them an attempt to polarise voters before the civic body polls.
