Three labourers died on Friday afternoon in Pimpri-Chinchwad's Nigdi Pradhikaran while installing optical fibre in a chamber, likely due to suffocation. DCP (Zone 1) Sandeep Atole confirmed their bodies were taken to Nigdi's Lokmanya Hospital. The deceased were identified as Lakhan Dhaware, Sahebrao Girsat and Datta Honale, all residents of Bijli Nagar, Chinchwad.
