Scientists at China's Zhejiang University have successfully delivered world's first cloned yak through a caesarean section (C-section) in Tibet. The cloned calf weighed 33.5 kg at birth, making it heavier than most yak newborns, researchers said. The team used whole-genome selection and somatic cell cloning techniques to create the cloned yak.
