Ethel Caterham, the world's oldest living person and oldest British person ever, celebrated her 116th birthday on August 21. Hailing from England, Ethel has held the record since April 30. She lived in India when she was 18 and got a job as nanny with a British family. Ethel is also one of the oldest people to survive COVID-19 pandemic.
