The world’s smallest snake, Barbados threadsnake, has been rediscovered after over 20 years without a verified sighting. The Barbados Ministry of Environment and National Beautification had been searching for it and other endemic reptiles for more than a year under the Conserving Barbados' Endemic Reptiles (CBER) project. It was found under a rock in central Barbados during an ecological survey.
