Yara International's subsidiary, Yara Clean Energy has collaborated with North Sea Container Line to build the world's first ammonia-powered container ship, which is expected to enter service by 2026. Named Yara Eyde, the vessel will be the first to sail an emission-free sea route between Norway and Germany. The ship is expected to eliminate 11,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.
