Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's economic advisor, Basavaraj Rayareddy, said that wrong people were getting benefits of government schemes in the state. "I was reviewing the guarantees in my constituency...There were some undeserving people who received BPL (Below Poverty Line) cards," Rayareddy stated. He added that he has given instructions to stop guarantees to those who do not deserve it.
