Relics believed to be from World War 2 were found in Manipur's Imphal West district by construction workers during digging on Tuesday morning, officials said. Many rusted empty cases, a grenade, shells, and spades were among the items recovered from the site. The items were reportedly left behind by Allied forces soldiers while fighting the Battle of Imphal in 1944.
