Mike Liberatore, former CFO of xAI who had quit the firm in July after a 3-month stint, has joined OpenAI as Business Finance Officer, Reuters reported. Liberatore was involved in xAI's $5-billion debt raise in June and a separate $5-billion strategic equity investment. His hiring comes amid an ongoing feud between OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and xAI CEO Elon Musk.
