Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has been handed the number 10 jersey by the club's President Joan Laporta. The jersey was previously donned by Lionel Messi and later by Ansu Fati before he moved to AS Monaco on a season-long loan. The 18-year-old, who made his debut for Barcelona in 2023, also signed a new contract until 2031.
