Yamuna river in Delhi rose to 207.09 metres on Wednesday, crossing the 207-metre mark for the fifth time since 1963, according to Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) department. Officials warned it may reach 207.40 metres by tonight, likely becoming the third-highest Yamuna water level ever recorded in Delhi. The water level touched a record high of 208.66 metres in 2023.
