Water from the surging Yamuna River entered several low-lying areas in Delhi on Tuesday, PTI reported. Thousands of residents were evacuated from low-lying neighbourhoods and shifted to relief camps in the national capital. The Yamuna River crossed the 206-metre mark on Tuesday afternoon amid continued heavy rainfall, triggering a city-wide flood preparedness review.
