Karnataka High Court has criticised actor-politician Kamal Haasan over his "Kannada language was born out of Tamil" remark, saying, "Are you a historian?" Haasan had moved the court seeking directions for the release of his film 'Thug Life'. Noting that Haasan hadn't apologised for the remark, the court added, "You may be Kamal Haasan...[but] you cannot hurt sentiments of masses."
