BJP on Friday accepted the resignation of Telangana MLA T Raja Singh from the party. However, BJP rejected the reasons of quitting, saying, "The contents mentioned by you are irrelevant and don't match...functioning, ideology, and principles of the party." Singh has quit BJP on June 30 after reports said N Ramchander Rao could be appointed as new Telangana BJP chief.
