Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) candidate and YouTuber Manish Kashyap lost Bihar Assembly elections from the Chanpatia constituency by 50,366 votes. He trailed behind Congress's Abhishek Ranjan and BJP's Umakant Singh and garnered 37,172 votes. Kashyap has over nine million subscribers on YouTube and gained visibility through his commentary on regional issues. He was in BJP but later exited the party.
