YSRCP's State General Secretary for Andhra Pradesh, SV Satish Reddy, was reportedly placed under house arrest ahead of the Pulivendula and Vontimitta ZPTC (Zilla Parishad Territorial Constituency) byelections on Tuesday. He alleged that the "gundas" (goons) of the ruling TDP are ransacking the houses of opposition members and stopping their agents from going near the polling stations.
