Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, who passed away aged 73 in a hospital in the US, was laid to rest in San Francisco on Thursday. The tabla legend was suffering from a chronic lung disease. Percussionist Anandan Sivamani was among those who attended the funeral of Zakir Hussain. Sivamani and several other musicians paid a musical tribute to Zakir Hussain.
