Electric Vehicles (EVs) have been exempted from paying toll on the Atal Setu, formerly known as Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), PTI reported, quoting an official. The government has also exempted EVs from paying toll tax on Nagpur–Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg from August 23, an official circular said. The government is planning on extending these exemptions to other highways as well.
