Online gaming platform Zupee on Thursday announced that it will lay off 170 employees, representing nearly 30% of its total workforce. This comes after the central government banned real-money and gambling games. The Gurugram-based company said the departing employees will receive severance pay in addition to their notice period, along with extra financial support based on years of service.
